Hampton Inn & Suites and Home2 Suites

Dual Branded Hotel

Project Summary

For this hospitality design project, we were approached by DesignCell Architecture to help with ground-up MEP designs to build a new dual-branded hotel less than 500 feet from the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Design for a new ground-up, 6-story, 250-unit dual-branded hotel property.

Located directly across from Las Vegas Convention Center.

Shared hotel amenities include a state of the art fitness center, dining rooms, outdoor pool, indoor bar with lounge area, coworking space and a three-story parking garage next to the hotel.

Design was completed utilizing Revit.

Revolution Engineering provided mechanical, plumbing, and electrical engineering and design services.

The Challenge

Several factors were considered prior to building this new project in Las Vegas located strategically next to the convention center.

  • $1 billion dollar expansion to the Las Vegas Convention Center
  • Raider Stadium being built and set to open in 2020
  • Elon Musk’s Boring Company working on a new tunnel underneath our convention spaces

This dual-branded hotel aims to be a sound choice for business travelers and leisure travelers alike.

The challenge was creating a space that could adapt to the needs of its guests. We created open spaces and meeting space that would accommodate business meetings and a place to work out of when business travelers are not attending a convention.

“This dual-branded hotel will offer travelers all of the usual Hilton amenities with the added option of choosing a typical-length stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites or extended stay accommodations at the Home2 Suites.”
