Project Summary
Cathedral City firefighters needed more space as its crew expanded. City officials decided to create a new 8,500sf fire station across the street from its former location. The $8 million station is set on a three-acre site which features training and recreation spaces. The building was constructed from a pre-engineered metal building. The project included creating housing space for a 10-person emergency response crew, a kitchen, office space and a fitness center, as well as equipment maintenance and storage areas.
